PRISMA supports and promotes the research activities of its members through the internal allocation of funds on a completitive basis (PRISMA Research Fund). All members may apply for the funding of personnel and/or equipment to carry out important new research projects that support PRISMA's research goals and enhance its scientific profile.
- allocates travel funds for young investigators, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students to enable the attendance of conferences, schools, and collaboration meetings and thus to increase their international visibiltiy;
- financially supports the stay of visiting scholars as well as newly appointed professors during their stays in Mainz;
- financially supports conferences and workshops that address issues that are relevant to the research agenda of PRISMA;
- comprehensively supports outreach activities, such as the Junior Campus Physics.
