The opening ceremony of the exhibition „ZoomIn - Making the invisible visible“ took place in the „Schule des Sehens“ at JGU campus on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 16:30. It is the first science-orientated exhibition hosted by the „Schule des Sehens“. Until November 30, JGU’s students and staff as well as guests of the University now have the opportunity to learn about PRISMA’s research and to delve into the world of the smallest particles .
Among the numerous scientists guests from politics as well as friends and supporters of the University joined the ceremony. Following the greetings of Dr. Frank-Dieter Kuchta (Ministry for Science, Continuing Education and Culture), Univ.-Prof. Dr. Stefan Müller-Stach (Vice President for Research JGU), Univ.-Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Oy-Marra (Head of Steering Committee Schule des Sehens) both PRISMA’s spokespersons Univ.-Prof. Dr. Matthias Neubert und Univ.-Prof. Dr. Hartmut Wittig welcomed the guests. And finally, after the introductory talk of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Niklaus Berger the exhibition was open for discovery.
